I support individuals (5+ yo) in healing and self-discovery throughout the lifespan. My approach is attachment-based at its core, drawing on Attachment Theory and Internal Family Systems (IFS) together. We'll spend real time nurturing and modeling secure attachment, building tools to regulate your nervous system from the inside out, and healing wounds. I also see each of us as made up of different "parts" — aspects of ourselves that can hold conflicting thoughts and feelings at once. Rather than trying to silence them, we'll get to know these parts and build relationships with them. IFS holds that underneath it all, we each have access to a calm, grounded core it calls "Self." When parts lack a relationship with Self, they can become scared, angry, or in conflict with each other; as they unburden and reconnect with Self, they shift from exhausted protectors into something more like trusted advisors working alongside you.

I want therapy to make room for all of you — the full complexity of your identities and how they intersect. I hold white and able-bodied identity, and I'm committed to honest examination of how that shapes what I can and can't fully understand about my clients' lived experience. Power dynamics show up in every therapy room, and deserve to be named at whatever pace feels right for you; I take that seriously through ongoing training, reading, and consultation with peers. Above all, this work is collaborative — we'll take the time we need to build real trust, and I'll generally follow your lead, though I won't hesitate to be more directive when a moment calls for clearer guidance. My goal is to work as a team with you, staying flexible enough to meet whatever comes up.

Relational Therapy

I support couples, polycules, friends, and families in healing their relationships. I believe relationships are where we're most wounded and most healed, which is why relational, attachment-based work sits at the center of my practice. With couples, I draw on Emotionally Focussed Therapy and the Developmental Model of couples therapy, which understands conflict not as a sign of incompatibility, but as a natural stage partners move through as they differentiate from one another and grow into a more mature, interdependent bond. Rather than rushing to smooth over disagreement, we'll slow down and get curious about what each of you needs to feel both securely connected and fully yourself within the relationship.

With families, I draw on family systems theory to understand each person not in isolation, but as part of an interconnected whole, where patterns, roles, and communication styles are often passed down across generations. We'll look at the family as a living system — noticing how each member's behavior both shapes and responds to everyone else's — and work together to shift unhelpful patterns, strengthen boundaries, and build more secure, flexible ways of relating. My goal is to help each person feel seen as an individual while also helping the family find a steadier, more connected way of moving through the world together.
